Macadamia Harvesting Goldmac
The large catchment for the plantations

Harvesting season starts in February and runs through to October and begins as soon as the nuts are ready. The harvester dehusks nuts immediately in the plantation and recycles the husks into mulch as an organic fertilizer for trees.

Machine harvested and dehusked nuts are dried by a dehydration system which is recognized by food technologists as the best method for maintaining colour, flavour and quality. Our macadamia nuts are then processed to size and style by one of Australia's most experienced nut processors. This processor operates under an accredited quality assurance system which complies with HACCP Management System certification.
