GOLDMAC AUSTRALIAN MACADAMIAS Goldmac
The Sheppard Family

The Sheppard Family is one of Australia's largest and most professional growers, and produces Goldmac Australian Macadamia nuts. The plantations comprise over 130,000 macadamia trees, the first being established in October 1990, an additional 30,000 trees will be planted by 1999. The five plantations, spread out over 2,000 acres, are watered by a large 400 megalitre spring fed dam and 5 underground water supplies, which guarantees plenty of irrigation water for the growing season. The plantations are irrigated, so an annual nut harvest is ensured.

The plantations trees regularly produce above Australian average yields as the local conditions are very favourable for macadamia nuts, so Goldmac can reliably harvest and process consistent quantities of premium quality nuts. Our objective is to be harvesting some 3,000 tones of nuts per season when all trees reach maturity.

Goldmac is focused on supplying fresh tasting, premium quality macadamia nuts, processed to suit the requirements of processors and wholesalers anywhere in the world. A stir-fry - prawns and Macadamia nuts
